Frequently Asked Questions
What are the payment options available?
You can either pay in full upfront or secure your training session with a 50% deposit. The remaining balance can be paid on the day of your appointment via cash, bank transfer, or EFTPOS.

What do I need to bring with me to the training?

It is encouraged to come prepared with all your questions written down so we can address exactly what you need to learn.

A notebook to take notes. If you prefer to take notes on your phone, that is perfectly fine.

All other training materials and tools required for the training will be provided by Kathy.
Who is this training not suitable for?

Makeup artists who have intermediate skill levels and are already working with clients - Check out our Artistry Upskill Training Instead

Prefer 1:1 instruction, rather than a small group setting (these sessions are 2:1)
When is this training offered?
Our March intake is on Tuesday 11th & Wednesay 12th of March. Our April Intake is on Tuesday 15th & Wednesday 16th of April. If you aren't available on these dates, but are interested. Get on the waitlist here.
Location and Parking

The training is held at Kathy's home studio in West Ryde.

Residential parking is available on the road. Please avoid parking directly in front of the house as it is only 2-hour parking. Instead, park two houses up.
Are models required or can one be provided?

Clients are required to bring 2 models to the training session, and will need to send a picture of the models to Kathy before your training session.

If a client is unable to bring a model, a $50 fee is required to arrange one, $100 if you require Kathy to arrange both. Please notify Kathy at least 2 weeks in advance if you are unable to find a model.

I get it... I’ve been exactly where you are...
7 years ago I was dreaming of being a booked and busy makeup artist but back then, I was starting from scratch. I had zero clients, no Instagram presence, and honestly, not a ton of skills either.
It was a bit daunting, the mountain seemed so high and I kept asking myself, "How am I going to make this happen?"
